Delicious pizza? Absolutely. There's so much flavor in every bite. Crispy crust? Extra crispy. Worth the hype? Not really. It's a great pizza spot and the flavor is great but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. It's a great place to grab a slice if you're in the area. Truffle mushroom slice is so much flavor if you're a truffle fan! The buffalo chicken, pepperoni & spinach slices are great too. the only one I wish I could've tried was the hot honey burrata.. til next time I'm around!

3.5 stars My friend was raving about the pizza from Taglio, so our group decided to give it a shot the other day. There were so many interesting pies on the menu, but my buddies opted for the Classic and the Amatriciana versions. I skipped the basic, plain one to save the calories for the other, which sounded much more unique. The 8-slice, Roman-style Amatriciana was topped with pancetta, burrata, caramelized onions, cracked black pepper, tomato sauce, Sicilian oregano, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil, and Pecorino Romano. While I liked the crust, I thought that the pizza could have used much more burrata and much less pancetta. Each bite had so much pork flavor, but lacked the mild cheese to balance it out. We had sampled those pizzas as a taste test comparison with Sicilian slices from Positano's in Williston, which I preferred. In all honesty, though, I am not a huge pancetta fan to begin with, so given their rave reviews, I would definitely try another pie from them in the future.

Bravo Taglio Pizza! First visit to their original place in Mineola. Ordered a " regular cheese slice" and it didn't disappoint! Washed down with a small glass bottle of Mexican Coke ( cane sugar) and this quick meal was really good. A little pricey $8.25 but worth it!

The Roman-style pizzas here are incredible--perfectly crunchy and full of flavor, with plenty of options to choose from. It really took me back to Italy! The only downside is the parking, but since it's so close to the hospital and several medical buildings, it's not really a problem for them. I'd love to come back and try more of what they have to offer.

To die for. Taglio pizza... chefs kiss x100. I wish they shipped within the US because I would buy from them! This pizza place is sleek and clean. Their pizza is so delicious. I got the Sausage, pepperoni, ricotta, hot honey pizza and it was crispy and soft. It's hard to explain how amazing it was. We had another pizza place in NY but we ended up going BACK to Taglio. So good. 10/10 recommend and the workers are so nice!

As I've said before, lifelong New Yorker here who never had a go-to pizza place. I've simply enjoyed many different great ones at all times. That said, I'm happily a Taglio pizza guy going forward. However, after today's visit, I think I may have a problem. I just can't eat more than two slices, even though I'm a big guy. But when I went in, intending to get a regular Napolitano and one of those heavenly barbecue chicken slices, I came face-to-face with this mortadella pistachio Roman pesto cheesy wonder. Oh my God; I couldn't resist. And even though they look small, they are incredibly filling. Have to say, once again the barbecue chicken pizza here is just amazing. Though you can tell that that delicious BBQ chicken must be glazed with a very sweet sauce, but they are topped high with crunchy tangy sweet fried chicken. And the guys there know to heat those slices very well, just like I like them, so that the crust underneath all that topping is just so crispy and crunchy, holds up even when you don't eat it right out of the oven. What can I say, I've got a lot to say about Taglio Pizza. I've got to try the Massapequa location, which is just as close to my house as Mineola.

Very tasty New York style pizza. When I came in, did not see a regular plain triangle shaped slice, but many other delicious styles and options. Crowd favorite with alot of activity and limited seating. Bathroom is there and it's drafty in the winter but good take out.

Got off the Mineola train and decided to try Taglio Pizza, which was highly recommended by a friend. Was it good pizza? Yes. Was it worth the price of the pizza? Yes, for the most part. Taglio pizza isn't your run of the mill pizzeria pizza. They serve Roman style pizza ... idk what that is but it's fancy topping thin Sicilian slices. The service staff was very patient with me with my numerous questions about what all the toppings were. It's not a big location, around 5 tables and 4 or 5 high counter seats facing the street. My suggestion ... enjoy the pizza when it's right out of the oven. I took a few slices home cuz my hungry-greedy ass wanted more food but when I got them home, they tasted 'ehhh'. But will that stop me from returning, nope ... I'll have to go back and enjoy the pizza there. Wishing Taglio Pizza continued success!!

Taglio has great options for pizza but I recommend the Roman pizza! My favorites are the Classic Pepperoni and BBQ Chicken! Service is quick and if you're getting take out, there's one parking spot out front for 15 minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating and if you have a small group, the place is big enough to accommodate. My only criticism is that sometimes the bottom of the pizza is burnt so I would check before you leave.

Was excited to try out the #3 pizza place in the US (also #99 in the world)! Conveniently located right outside the Mineola train station - for when you're grabbing a slice on your way to or from home; we saw a lot of people in their work clothes grabbing boxes to go. They also have online ordering available, which is what we did but honestly the line seems to move pretty fast - so I'd say not necessary unless you have a large order. The price is reasonable, with most slices ~$5 and specialty slices at a higher price point and each slice is substantial with lots of dough and toppings. I got the Classic NY Slice which was everything you want in a slice - saucy without being drenched and crispy. I also tried the Palate E'Rosemario Roman Slice - the dough very much resembles focaccia, really soft yet crunchy. While I knew flavor was going to be simple (potato slices with rosemary and pecorino), it was almost too simple for my taste - whether it be punchy peppercorns or flaky salt atop or more rosemary, needed a little oomph. But that wouldn't stop me from coming again - I'd love to get a whole pie of their Vodka Roman Slice, delish!
